The Saint Johns Golf & Country Club hosted a Breakfast with Santa and Elf on the Shelf Dec. 13 in the club’s restaurant. They were served a great meal by Chef Burgin, but the children thought the best part of breakfast was visiting with Santa Claus.

The children were excited to visit with Santa and one of his elves, a.k.a. Ashley Savage, and share their Christmas wish list with them.

The jolly ole man listened intently as the children explained how good they have been and many thanked Santa for last year’s gifts and promised to be good into the coming year. Of course, there were also questions about Rudolf and the other reindeer and a few made promises to have cookies waiting for him when he visited their homes.

Santa wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
