*If you are unsure of the final number of guests, no worries! Please provide an estimate for our planning purposes and let us know more accurate numbers a week or two prior to your party date. We only count “kids who will participate”. Adults, older siblings, relatives or friends, babies, etc would not be included in this count.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING TRAVEL POLICY: Travel fee is based upon mileage from our home base in southern St Augustine. Parties/events that take place outside a 15 mile radius from our home base will be subject to a $0.75/mile travel fee round trip. Visits/parties with multiple characters or staff members may be subject to additional mileage charges. Please inquire before booking if you would like a quote.(required)

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: Our mermaid visit requires special accommodations for arrival and departure. The water must be 80 degrees or warmer. Our mermaid does not accept responsibility for the safety of the children while in the pool. Our mermaid can swim in in-ground pools ONLY, no above ground pools. An assistant accompanies our mermaid to all party events.(required)

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: Our mermaid assistant will need your FULL cooperation to disguise getting the mermaid(s) in and out of the pool. Please prepare to have a distracting activity for the arrival time frame and plan to sing happy birthday as the perfect distraction for when it is time for the mermaids to depart. (required)

In the event of inclement weather, you have the right to reschedule the visit, ONE TIME ONLY, to a mutually agreeable date and time. Rescheduling must be completed AT MINIMUM 48 HOURS PRIOR to the scheduled visit time. If our mermaids arrive and inclement weather interrupts the visit, our mermaids will still stay for the hour allotted, but will be prepared to sit under a covered patio or indoors and continue activities out of the water (tattoos, games, storytime, pictures, etc).(required)

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: Bounce House Clause: (if applicable) in our experience, we cannot compete with the presence of a bouncy house. While our team will try their best to still be interactive with the guests, we cannot force guests to ignore a bounce house. During the time of the party, we recommend deflating your bounce house, or encouraging guests to participate in activities during the duration of the party.(required)

By submitting the contract above, you are agreeing to our TERMS AND SERVICE AGREEMENT. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have read and understand all policies PRIOR to submitting your contract.

What’s Next?

Please allow 24 hours for our team to review your booking form. If we are available for your party date, we will confirm via email and send an invoice for the $75 non refundable deposit. The deposit MUST be received to finalize your reservation. 

If we are not available, we will contact you to discuss alternative party dates or time frames. We typically cannot accommodate any requests with less than 48 hours notice. 

Once a booking is complete, we will reach out again a couple weeks prior to your scheduled visit to collect the remaining balance. We strongly recommend reading the “Tips for a Successful Party” below to ensure you’re prepared for the most magical experience possible!

TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL PARTY

All characters arrive on site approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled party time. The assistant will speak to you to arrange the arrival of the mermaid characters. Please provide an engaging activity to keep kids away from the pool area while our mermaids enter the pool. Some great ideas include: encourage guests to play INSIDE and change into bathing suits prior to the mermaid arrival, arrange a group photo op away out of the pool, encourage kids to play with bubbles or sidewalk chalk when it is time for the mermaid to arrive, send them on a “Treasure Hunt” to find a fun surprise in the front or side yard.

In addition, we recommend having cake or a fun party game to distract the kids when the visit concludes and it is time for our mermaids to exit the pool area.

Our performer(s) have the contact numbers you have provide and will call you in the event of any issues with finding the party location or parking. Please keep your phone on and near you close to your party start time.

In the event inclement weather interrupts the visit, our mermaids will still stay for the hour allotted, but will be prepared to sit under a covered patio or indoors and continue activities out of the water (tattoos, painting nails, playing games, storytime, pictures, etc).

In the event that a little guest is disruptive or tries to “disprove” the character (i.e. pulling on costumes or wigs, yelling un-necessarily, saying rude or offensive remarks, hanging on the mermaids while swimming, etc) kindly remove the child from the character environment. Help us preserve the magic for those who do “believe” by providing a safe and positive environment for our performers to do what they do best.
