Thank you for choosing Girly-Girl Parteas to create a magical celebration for your child! It is the client’s responsibility to read these terms in full before booking an event with Girly-Girl Parteas. By paying the nonrefundable deposit for your event, you are agreeing to these terms.
Deposit & Confirmation
- Any event date, time, and character cannot be held without an online booking request, a nonrefundable deposit paid electronically, and a signed and completed electronic booking agreement. There are no exceptions.
- A $75 non-refundable deposit is due upon booking to secure your party or event date. You have one week from receiving the booking availability email to pay the deposit. If the deposit is not paid within one week, Girly-Girl Parteas will consider the client no longer interested in booking and release the date. The client must resubmit their request if they wish to move forward with a booking. Acceptable forms of payment include PayPal or Zelle only. Deposits are nonrefundable.
Late Booking
Due to high demand, requests submitted less than one week before the event date will incur a late minimum booking fee of $50 per character. We apologize for any inconvenience, as we work to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Parties are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no exceptions.
Travel Fees
- A travel fee of $0.75 per mile will be added for events more than 15 miles from our home base, calculated via Google Maps.
- Performers strive to arrive on time but may encounter delays due to traffic or weather. A delay will not reduce your booked time. Performers will stay for the full scheduled duration beginning at their arrival. Any delay will be communicate via your performer or Party Manager by the phone number you provide during booking.
Final Balance
The client agrees to pay the final balance no later than 7 DAYS BEFORE the scheduled event start time. Final balance invoices will be sent one week before the event. Failure to pay the final balance by the deadline may cancel your booking without refunding the deposit.
Acceptable payment methods include PayPal (with a 5% service fee), credit/debit card, Zelle or check. Returned payments will incur a $50 fee.
Gratuity
Tipping is always appreciated but never required. Girly-Girl Parteas will evenly split tips between all cast members who work your event. If the client would prefer to tip virtually, electronic tipping options will also be available.
Refunds
No refunds will be issued after the completion of services. Should the client have an issue with a performance, activities, or services rendered, they should immediately express their concerns with the event staff or performer before they depart from the event.
We aim to delight and exceed all client expectations 100% of the time. If a client is dissatisfied with their service, we will work with them to provide alternative solutions. Clients are strongly encouraged to voice their concerns with their event staff and contact Girly-Girl Parteas management as soon as possible if they are dissatisfied with their service.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- If a client cancels an event due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or illness, the deposit is nonrefundable. There are no exceptions. If a client cancels their event less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, both the deposit and final balance will not be refunded. Cancellation notifications must be provided at least 24 hours in advance for a refund of the final balance (the deposit remains nonrefundable).
- Events may be rescheduled ONE TIME, up to one week before the scheduled date at no additional charge, pending availability. All booking retainers are nonrefundable but can be transferred to another available date for up to one year. Additional rescheduling fees may apply for changes made less than one week before the event or multiple date change requests.
- In the highly unlikely event that Girly-Girl Parteas must cancel an appearance due to an emergency, we agree to provide an equally valued event free of charge, redeemable for up to 18 months from the original event date. If the client chooses not to accept the free event, the deposit and final balance will be fully refunded.
Changes to Event Start Time
Girly-Girl Parteas will accommodate requests to adjust event start times when possible, based on availability.
- Changes must be requested in writing no later than 7 days before the event start time.
- Same-day changes to event times may not be accommodated.
Changes to Event Length
Girly-Girl Parteas will accommodate requests to extend or shorten event length based on availability.
- Changes must be requested in writing no later than 7 days before the event.
- Changes to event length may incur additional charges.
Party Package Expectations
For full service party packages, clients are responsible for providing tables and chairs for each guest attending. All tables and chairs MUST BE SET UP and ready to decorate BEFORE our staff’s arrival.
Clients also agree to provide the following for our party planning staff:
- Safe, clean INDOOR areas for activities
- Gathering space for parents or the guests (if you want them to stay)
- Use of clean kitchen and sink
- A smoke free environment
- Parking near entrance for loading and unloading
Guest Count
- For parties, the client must confirm the final guest count at least seven (7) days prior to the event. Supplies and charges will be based on this number.
- If the number of guests exceeds what was agreed upon, activities may be adjusted to fit the allotted time.
- Activities are planned based on the number of children and the event environment. Staff will do their best to complete all activities but may adjust based on guest participation and unforeseen circumstances.
- Refunds are not given for no-show guests.
Guests Who Arrive Late
Please advise all guests that the party will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
All activities are carefully planned out, and any child arriving late may join the activities at the point that they have progressed. This is necessary to ensure the least amount of disruption to the party. We cannot work backwards or pull out supplies that have already been cleaned up for a child who arrives late.
Activities & Event Itinerary
Girly-Girl Parteas does not guarantee a specific number of activities during an event. Activities are adjusted based on the number of children and the event’s environment.
Performers are trained to read the room and lead activities in an order that best suits the children in attendance. While every effort will be made to complete all activities, unforeseen circumstances may require performers to modify the schedule.
Spa & Makeover Services
- Girly-Girl Parteas strives to provide a quality, authentic experience for your party guests, however, we do not claim to be ‘professionals’ in the field of cosmetics.
- Spa services are not performed by licensed cosmetologists and are for entertainment purposes only. We offer “mini” manicures and pedicures that do not include cutting or filing and does not resemble the work of a trained and licensed nail technician. Our performance is done in a simple and ‘fun’ manner.
Guest Engagement
- Performers are responsible for leading activities but cannot guarantee individual attention for every guest.
- Parents and guardians are welcome to attend but are asked to keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid distractions.
- The client is responsible for managing disruptive behavior to ensure a smooth event experience.
Performer Requests
Girly-Girl Parteas cannot guarantee specific performers due to potential scheduling conflicts, safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances. Our performers
Costumes & Character Integrity
The costumes and character appearances at events will match those featured on the Girly-Girl Parteas website. Seasonal or holiday-themed outfits may be used for events during those times.
Clients wishing to request a specific outfit must do so during the booking process.
Other Entertainment
Girly-Girl Parteas performers will only work alongside our contracted staff members during events. For safety, liability, and character integrity, performers reserve the right to leave an event without refund if outside entertainment companies or unapproved character impersonators are present.
For example, a client may not hire a princess character from Girly-Girl Parteas while simultaneously hiring a superhero character from another entertainment company to perform at the same event.
The client agrees to provide advance written notice if additional forms of entertainment (e.g., DJs, bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters, singers, dancers, or other performers) will be present at the event. If additional entertainment is provided, Girly-Girl Parteas performers cannot guarantee full guest engagement and may need to adjust the event itinerary accordingly.
Bounce House Policy
In our experience, characters cannot compete with the presence of a bouncy house. While our characters will try their best to still be interactive with the guests, we cannot force guests to ignore a bounce house.
Our staff are not allowed to enter a bounce house as it can damage their costumes and wigs. During the time of party services, we recommend deflating your bounce house, or encouraging guests to interact with the scheduled activities. Re-inflating the bounce house at the end of the character’s visit is a great way to occupy children as the character slips out of the party.
Client Responsibilities
- Girly-Girl Parteas performers are professional entertainers and are not responsible for the care or supervision of children. The client agrees to have at least one parent, guardian, or other adult supervisor present for the entire duration of the event.
- The client agrees to supervise children to ensure appropriate behavior towards the performer, other guests, and event assistants. If a child becomes physical with a performer or repeatedly disrupts activities, it is the client’s responsibility to de-escalate the situation.
- While adults are welcome to stay and enjoy the magic, we kindly ask onlookers to minimize noise to avoid distractions for the children and ensure the performer can be heard.
Damage & Smoking Policy
We understand that accidents can happen, but the client may be held responsible for excessive damage to costumes, props, or materials belonging to Girly-Girl Parteas. In such cases, the client agrees to cover the cost of repairs or replacement.
For the protection of our costumes and supplies:
- Performers will not work in environments with any form of smoke (including cigarettes, cigars, or vaping).
- The client agrees to keep pets and animals away from the event area.
Location Requirements
The client is responsible for providing a suitable event space and accommodations for performers.
- Events must be conducted indoors unless pre-approved during booking. Outdoor events require performers to remain on paved surfaces and under covered areas.
- Performers cannot perform outdoors in extreme heat (above 80°F) or inclement weather. If conditions are not suitable, the performer may request to move indoors. Failure to accommodate may result in immediate cancellation without refund.
- For mascot or masked characters, performers require a five-minute break in an air-conditioned space for every 30 minutes of activity.
- We recommend hosting events indoors during periods of extreme heat or cold to ensure the safety and comfort of performers and guests.
The client must also provide access to water for each performer as needed during the event. Event activities may be impacted by the venue and weather conditions.
Allergies & Inclusivity
- The client assumes responsibility for ensuring that guests do not have allergies or sensitivities to food, makeup, or other materials used during the event.
- Girly-Girl Parteas is committed to providing magical, inclusive experiences for all children. If any special accommodations are required (e.g., for children with sensory sensitivities, mobility needs, or other considerations), the client agrees to notify Girly-Girl Parteas in advance so we can make adjustments to ensure every guest has a wonderful time.
Privacy & Data Protection
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Data collected during the booking process will be used exclusively for planning your event and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Photo Release
- Girly-Girl Parteas event assistants may take photos during parties and events. By paying the nonrefundable deposit, the client consents to Girly-Girl Parteas using event photos on our website, social media platforms, and promotional materials. Full names or personal details will never be shared.
- If you prefer not to have photos used, please notify us in writing before the event. If a “no photo” request is made, we may take and share photos of our staff only or party set-up excluding any guests. We will not take additional photos.
- If a child attending the event should not be photographed for promotional purposes, the client agrees to notify Girly-Girl Parteas in writing before the event.
Liability & Safety
- The client agrees to hold Girly-Girl Parteas, Inc., its agents, and employees harmless from any property damage or bodily injury caused by party guests.
- Girly-Girl Parteas, Inc. is not liable for accidents, allergic reactions, or injuries related to food, makeup, costumes, or activities conducted during the event.
- Spa services are for entertainment purposes only and are not performed by licensed cosmetologists.
- Performers are not responsible for supervising children. At least one parent or guardian must be present to monitor behavior and address any needs.
